With unique access to a diverse range of produce, some 80% of our business is in shellfish - whelk, scallops, crab, live lobster, langoustines, shrimp and winkles - with the balance in whitefish, including monkfish and sole.
We can deliver produce in an impressive array of formats - including fresh, frozen, live, cooked and pasteurised. We are pleased to offer our customers a wide range of products frozen at sea, including langoustine, monk and hake, a process which makes for unparalleled quality and flavour
Our partnership with the Kilmore Quay day boats, a stone's throw from the factory, guarantees optimum freshness and delivery to our customers within hours of being caught.
Kilmore Quay is the home of scallop fishing in Ireland, and at Sofrimar, we take pride in being pioneers of scallop processing. A management plan agreed between all the main stakeholders in the fishery guarantees the sustainability of scallops and provides our customers with a fresh, continuous supply.
